Lease contracts are considered one of the important contracts in the lives of people in Islamic Egypt, due to the intertwining of their interests over notables and businesses. this contract is included in the important historical and cultural documents, which refer to how the process of renting houses and real estate was carried out, in addition to seeing the prices set during that period for renting houses, and sometimes we also find lease contracts Between Muslims and Copts, which reflects the close relationship that existed between them, in addition to resorting to the Islamic administration to record their slightest treatment, which can preserve their rights for them, protect their debts, and defend the gains. The lease contract is considered one of the contracts that the Islamic legislation, as well as the Islamic administration in Egypt, are concerned with by setting its provisions, the Arabic papyri shows us that women in Islamic Egypt have participated. In many lease contracts, whether for houses, commercial agencies, or agricultural lands with men or women, or even relatives, I have found many Arab papyri that refer to this, and confirm to us that they are practicing many of their commercial transactions, including lease contracts.
