Abstract

The research talks about the topic of "The holder of the royal seal of King Seti the Second" Bay ", and the aim of this research is to highlight "who is the  "Bay", and what was his role through his assistance to some of the kings of this era. The research includes an introduction that explains the increase in the influence of foreigners who flocked to Egypt since the age of the nineteenth family and their access to distinguished positions in the royal court, then the researcher briefly presented to clarify the title of the holder of the royal seal in ancient Egypt and its functions , powers and great respect among his peers in the royal palace, Then the research talk about the employee "Bay" and his job during the King City the second ruling era, then showing the titles of "Bay" were displayed through the inscriptions, then his important and prominent role in the ascension of King Septah to the throne of the country was reviewed, and then an assistant to Queen Tausret in governing the country. His tomb was shown in the Valley of the Kings, after which his death and end were explained by King Siptah. Then the research ends with a conclusion that includes the most important results that were extracted from the research, and ends with a list of references that the researcher relied on during the study.
