A Descriptive Study of Job Frustration in Egyptian Tourist Companies

Abstract

This study aims to describe the dimensions of the job frustration in Egyptian tourism companies and the degree of their presence in those companies and study of whether there are differences in behaviors of job frustration according to some demographic variables represented in (gender, age, years of experience, educational qualification) And whether there are differences between workers in their awareness of job frustration according to these variables. This has been selected a sample of workers in tourism companies in the Greater Cairo region and the number of sample items (384).The researcher relied on collecting data on a survey list that included (12) phrases to measure job frustration. The list also included a special axis on demographic data for workers. The validity and reliability of the scale were tested using the Alpha Cronbach coefficient, where the coefficient of stability (85) and the coefficient of validity (0.92). The study found that there were significant differences between statistically significant between males and females with regard to job frustration. There were also significant differences of statistically significant in the employees perception of job frustration according to different age groups and the number of years of experience among workers. While there are no significant differences of statistically significant among the employees according to the educational qualification in their awareness of the job frustration in the Egyptian tourism companies.
