Job Involvement as a Mediator in the Relationship between Administrative Empowerment and Creativity in Five Star Hotels in Sharm El-Sheikh

Abstract

The objective of the study was to identify the relationship between the administrative empowerment of hotel employees and creativity in the presence of the job Involvement as a mediator variable. In order to achieve this goal, a questionnaire was designed to collect the study data. (SPSS V.25) and Amos V.21 were used to analyze the collected data. A path analysis method was used to highlight the direct and indirect effects between employees' administrative empowerment and their creativity in light of the job Involvement as a mediator variable. The study has reached several results. There is a significant, positive and direct effect of the administrative empowerment of the employees on both creativity and job involvement, as well as there is a significant and positive effect of the job involvement on creativity. The study also found that job involvement plays a partial role in the relationship between the administrative empowerment of employees and their creativity. The study recommended that hotels should be interested in raising awareness among employees about the dimensions of administrative empowerment as well as creating a suitable organizational environment to enhance their creativity.
