The Role of Technological Innovation in Achieving Sustainable Competitive Advantage in Egyptian Tourist Companies

Abstract

This study aimed to assess the impact of technological innovation in Egyptian tourism companies on their sustainable competitive advantage. To achieve this aim; 500 survey forms were distributed to a random sample of employees in tourism companies category "A", and 412 valid forms were analyzed using the SPSS v.24 program. To test the study's hypotheses; Correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used. The study concluded that there is a significant and positive impact of technological innovation on the sustainable competitive advantage in the Egyptian tourism companies category "A". The results also highlighted the significant and positive impact of technological innovation on the three dimensions of sustainable competitive advantage (outstanding quality, outstanding efficiency, and outstanding response).
