The impact of digital transformation on achieving strategic objectives in EgyptAir: The mediating role of strategic vigilance and organizational innovation

Abstract

The study aimed to explore the mediating role of strategic vigilance and organizational innovation in the relationship between digital transformation and strategic objectives in EgyptAir. The descriptive analytical method was used, as well as the questionnaire form to achieve the aim of the study. 427 forms were distributed to a random sample of employees of the EgyptAir and its branches in the governorates of Cairo and Giza, while 344 valid forms were analyzed. The results of the study highlighted digital transformation affect significantly and positively strategic vigilance, organizational innovation and strategic objectives. The results of the study also showed a significant and positive impact of both strategic vigilance and organizational innovation on the strategic objectives. The study also found that strategic vigilance and organizational innovation play a mediating role in the relationship between digital transformation and achieving strategic objectives in EgyptAir.
