The Relationship between Anger Management and Labor Turnover Rate in Five-star Hotels in Cairo City

Abstract

The study aims to measuring the relationship between anger management and labor turnover rate in five star hotels in Cairo. Where clarify the definition of anger management and its causes and results and how to manage it, as well as clarify the concept of labor turnover and its causes. The study was based on the design of a questionnaire containing a number of axes: the level of psychological pressure of the employees, the measurement of the labor turnover rate, the measurement of the satisfaction of the employees, the procedure used to manage anger. The questionnaire was distributed to a random sample of hotels employees. A number of statistical measures were used, including the arithmetic mean and Pearson correlation coefficient. The results showed that there is a close correlation between the existence of management of organizational anger and the low turnover of labor. Finally, a number of recommendations were reached, including the need to improve the level of job stability, improve the relationship between the management and its employees, the need to establish a fair system of incentives and improve the salary scale in the hotels.
