Management by wandering among managers of tourism companies and its relationship to the decision-making process

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the management approach by wandering, the reality of its application in Egyptian tourism companies, and the extent of its impact on the decision-making process of managers in tourism companies. In conducting the field study, the researchers relied on a sample of workers in tourism companies category “A” in the Cairo governorate from the study community in order to reach generalizable results, and benefit from them. 498 forms were distributed to a random sample of workers in those companies during the period from June 2022 Until September 2022, 455 forms were retrieved, and it was found that there are 416 valid forms for analysis using the two programs SPSS V. 28 and AMOS V.28. It was reached to a high degree of adoption of management by roaming in the Egyptian tourism companies, and a high degree of the ability of managers of tourism companies to make decisions, and the study also found that there is a significant and direct correlation between management by roaming and the decision-making process.
