The Impact of Strategic Intelligence on Organizational Success in Tourism and Hotel Organizations: The Mediating Role of Entrepreneurial Orientation

Abstract

The study aimed to measure the impact of strategic intelligence on entrepreneurial orientation and organizational success, as well as the impact of entrepreneurial orientation on organizational success, as well as to assess the mediating role of entrepreneurial orientation in the relationship between strategic intelligence and organizational success in tourism companies category "A" and five-star hotels. To achieve the aims of the study; A total of 887 questionnaires were distributed to a sample of employees in tourism companies category "A" and five-star hotels in the governorates of Cairo and Giza. The data analysis based on 732 valid questionnaires using SPSS V.28 and AMOS V.26. The results showed a significant and positive impact of strategic intelligence on entrepreneurial orientation and organizational success, as well as a significant and positive impact of entrepreneurial orientation on organizational success. The results also demonstrated that the entrepreneurial orientation plays a full mediating role in the relationship between strategic intelligence and organizational success. As well, the results concluded that the impact of strategic intelligence on each of the organizational success and the entrepreneurial orientation was higher in the five-star hotels than in the tourism companies category "A", while the impact of the entrepreneurial orientation on the organizational success was higher in the tourism companies category "A" than in the five-star hotels.
