Obstacles of summer Training in educational institutions: Applying to Higher Tourism and Hotel Institutes in Alexandria

Abstract

The summer training course at the tourism and hotel institutes
is one of the courses that contribute to preparing an efficient student who can keep up with the labor market training; however, the training course faces many obstacles and difficulties that limit  students' benefits from it. The aim of this study is to identify the obstacles to summer training faced by students in tourist educational institutions. and whether these impediments belong According to the student himself, the study was conducted using the analytical descriptive curriculum. The study population consisted of students from the four higher institutes of tourism and hotels in Alexandria. A sample of (589) students was selected to conduct the study.
The study used simple and advanced statistical methods such as the t-test for variability analysis, Pearson correlation coefficients, and others. The results of the study revealed that there are many obstacles facing the student summer training at higher tourism and hotels institutes, including not enough cooperation by staff of training institutions with students during the training period. The number of students enrolled in specialised educational institutions in the tourism and hotel fields hinders the completion of training to the fullest extent and others.
