The religious influence of Greek and Roman deities in the Eastern Desert of Egypt during the Graeco-Roman period

Abstract

Greek and Roman deities were presented in the Eastern desert during the Greek and Roman period; they are (god Apollo - god Pan - god Zeus - goddess Venus). These deities had many qualities that would benefit the inhabitants of the Eastern desert during the Graeco-Roman period. Each of the four deities will be studied separately, clarifyind the characteristics that would affect life in the Eastern desert in the Graeco-Roman period, then an analytical study is conducted on the influence of the characteristics of those deities and explain the importance of these characteristics among the inhabitants of the Eastern desert.
