Amulets of the Four Sons of Horus at the Ismailia Museum: Nrs. (3322, 3323, 3324 and 3325)

Abstract

Horus, which are excellently preserved and currently displayed at the Ismailia Museum Nrs. (3322, 3323, 3324 and 3325). The study aims to analyze and comment on the symbolism of these amulets, shedding light on their role as guardians of the body's inner organs extracted throughout the process of mummification and as protectors of the deceased in the afterlife. Additionally, the research seeks to determine the time period of these amulets by analyzing their artistic characteristics.
