The social and economic sustainability standards in the mountain safari centers in the Red Sea Governorate

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the extent to which mountain safari centers apply the social and economic sustainability standards in the mountain safari centers in the Red Sea Governorate, which contributes to achieving sustainable development goals. To achieve this goal, a questionnaire form was designed to collect data from a random sample of (315) workers in mountain safari centers in Red Sea Governorate. The study relied on 244 questionnaires that valid for final analysis. The study data was analyzed using SPSS V.24. The study's findings demonstrated a decline in the Red Sea Mountain Safari Centers' dedication to the social dimension (job opportunities and social integration). Moreover, the results showed that the Red Sea's mountain safari centers had implemented the economic dimension's standards. Finally, the study provides recommendations to enhance the applicability of environmental sustainability standards in mountain safari centers in the Red Sea Governorate.
