The period of the Roman rule from 30 B.C till 280 A.D witnessed several plots by the women of the ruling houses which led to a state of instability of their rule; in turn it led to the collapse of the Roman Empire. Those women had their means for reaching their goals to enthrone their sons. Plots were considered a way to limit the power of some influential people either by physical or moral assassination. Two stages could be distinguished during the Roman Period; each stage had its characteristics that affected the growth or the diminution of the conspiracies.
