The Impact of the Awareness of the Egyptian Labor Law Regarding the Level of Gob Satisfaction of Workers in the Department of Food and Beverages in Five-Star Hotels in the Province of Alexandria

Abstract

The Study aims at identifying the extent of Knowledge of labor With the Egyptian law of work and its rights and duties. As well as to identify their awareness of the rules of work in their hotels where they work. The field study was implemented by distributing a questionnaire form to a group of employees of the Food and Beverage department among six-five star hotels. The study found a number of results, the most important of Which is that the largest dependence on food and beverage department in hotels under study is on males and not on female employees and that the majority of employees level of education at the Food and Beverage department is above average, which may be influential in explaining the reasons for the lack of Knowledge regarding the law work. The results of the study showed that employees of the Food and Beverage department are only aware of the work duties and not their full rights and duties stipulated in the labor law and that there is a positive effect of their level of Knowledge of Labor Law No.12 of 2003 and the regulations governing the work as well as the degree of satisfaction with their job. It was also found that by increasing the Knowledge of the employees of the laws and regulations leads to a high level of Satisfaction of the job, which leads to the stability of work that is leads to the stability of work that is reflected in turn in level of services provided by thy department of Food and Beverage in hotels under study.
