The Impact of Applying Electronic Management on Organizational Development for Official Tourism Organizations: Applied to Egyptian Ministry of Tourism

Abstract

Electronic management is a new approach that seeks to use the information and communication technology to accomplish works, transactions and various administrative functions such as organization, planning, steering and controlling in a highly competent, in addition to its effective role in avoiding routine, nepotism, Bureaucracy and other factors that prevent the evolution of the current administrative systems. Furthermore, electronic management is characterized by its efficiency to save time, effort and cost. The study aims to explore the impact of applying electronic management on organizational development at official tourism organizations. 450 Questionnaires were distributed to a random sample of employees in the ministry of tourism, while 441 forms were valid for statistical analysis. The study found that applying the electronic management has a significant and positive impact on organizational development.
