Incentive policies for intellectual capital management as a tool to enhance competitiveness for the tourism sector: An applied study on the Suez Canal region

Abstract

The tourism sector in Egypt has faced many changes in the business environment in such a way that it faces stiff competition, so it is necessary to enhance the competitiveness of the tourism sector through distinguished intellectual capital.  The research aims to enhance the competitiveness of the tourism sector through the use of incentive policies in the management of intellectual capital as a tool by which to release it. The results of the study showed that the use of incentive policies in the management of intellectual capital achieves its distinction as well as supports the competitiveness of the tourism sector both in improving the level of institutional performance, the level of service quality, reengineering.  The research recommends paying attention to incentive policies in the management of Intellectual capital.
