The effectiveness of the James Higgins model to solve management problems creatively: As applied to tourism companies in the Canal Governorates

Abstract

The study aims at investigating the effectiveness of the James M. Higgins model for solving administrative problems in a creative way facing tourism companies in Egypt in general and tourism companies in the governorates of the Canal in particular. Management problems were also identified, and the concept of creativity and the concept of a creative solution to administrative problems, as well as the relationship of problem-solving with creativity and the need for tourism companies for administrative creativity. The questionnaire was distributed to the study population from the directors of tourism companies in the governorates of the Canal and the number of one hundred companies, has been used some statistical measures such as (calculate the relative average and the approval rate - The results showed that several creative methods are more suitable than others in solving administrative problems in tourism companies in the Canal governorates, and finally reached several recommendations, including the establishment of incubator management for creativity or the creation of the so-called (Ideas Bank) be responsible for supporting and encouraging creative and outstanding work within the tourism companies, as well as interest to further scientific research that emphasizes the importance of creativity in the field of administrative work of tourism companies.
