The role of the Intellectual Capital in achieving competitive advantage in Egyptian Travel Agencies

Abstract

Intellectual capital is one of the important and essential components for the success in Egyptian travel Agencies, especially in the era of technological development and knowledge economy. Intellectual capital helps travel agencies achieving competitive advantage in today`s business environment. The research aims to indicate the role of intellectual capital in achieving competitive advantage in Egyptian travel agencies. The research results show that travel agencies have a unique intellectual capital, and there is a positive relationship between intellectual capital components, and achieving competitive advantage in Egyptian travel agencies. Finally the study found that intellectual capital affects the achieving competitive advantage in Egyptian travel agencies by 67.8%.
