Abstract

Artificial intelligence and machine learning research has witnessed remarkable developments in recent times, as AI technologies have revolutionized the travel and tourism industry. Among these technologies are chatbots, which are applications that stimulate interaction with users through intelligent conversations that mimic natural human language, Therefore, this study aims to identify The Impact Of Using AI-Based Chatbots On Tourists’ Purchasing Intention, The descriptive approach was used, and the study sample consisted of tourists coming to Egypt of different nationalities who had used this technology, numbering (385) tourists. A questionnaire was also relied upon as the main tool for collecting data, The most important results reached were that using chatbots supported by artificial intelligence has several advantages, the most important of which is providing support instead of customer service in tourism companies and airlines 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to help tourists and guide them so that they can search for a tourist service and complete it, which contributes to increasing, The percentage of sales of tourism products by motivating tourists to return and transact through the site again, Nominating and promoting tourism products according to tourists’ preferences with the ability to stay in continuous contact with the tourist for longer periods of time, allowing for virtual tours via the Internet and travel-related inquiries, saving time and effort in searching for available offers according to your needs, working to facilitate procedures and answering customers’ frequently asked questions, Hence, attracting many tourists to use chatbots supported by artificial intelligence and its positive impact on tourists’ future purchasing intention and behavior, The study recommends implementing Egypt's Vision 2030, which focuses on increasing investment efforts in modern technologies supported by artificial intelligence technologies
